Corporate Profile

About Néboda Farms

From CEA research to scalable vertical farming operations through industrial automation.

Company History

The company originated in 2012 when co-founder Iván first encountered hydroponic cultivation systems at the NEMO Science Museum in the Netherlands. This initial exposure to soilless growing methods led to sustained research into controlled environment agriculture (CEA) methodologies.

In 2015, Iván and Rober connected through the automotive manufacturing sector. Their collaboration combined Iván's expertise in robotics and industrial automation with Rober's background in financial analysis and cost optimization. By 2018, they had formalized plans to apply manufacturing-grade automation to indoor agriculture.

This technical approach became the foundation for Néboda Farms: leveraging industrial automation, IoT sensor networks, and data-driven cultivation protocols to achieve consistent, year-round production of fresh herbs with minimal environmental footprint.
